Industry: Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
Business Challenge: A leading south asian beverage manufacturer struggled with non-standard SKU codes for finished goods, semi-finished goods, raw materials, and packaging material. This lack of structured codification process created compliance issues and hindered coordination between departments, making product identification a major challenge.
Solution: We conducted a thorough analysis of the existing codification system, bill of materials and engaged stakeholders through workshops. A new codification logic was created, defining clear processes for SKU assignment. A phase-in and phase-out approach was implemented to ensure a smooth transition to the new coding standards.
Business Results: The new SKU coding system improved cross-departmental collaboration and compliance with standards. SKU nomenclature inefficiencies were recognized and enhanced master data management.

Industry: Hi-Tech
Business Challenge: A leading copier and printer manufacturer wanted to integrate their Oracle ERP with proprietary WMS of its partner (3PL) to outsource its warehouse and transport operations.
Solution: We defined a standardized process for 12 business transactions (PO, SO, ISO, RMA etc.) that has to be integrated bi-directionally between ERP and WMS real-time. This process standardization was done by studying each transaction, and how it is handled in both the systems (ERP & WMS), and defining a ‘to be’ business process flow for seamless exchange of data.
Business Results: This process standardization effort was used as the baseline to integrate the business transactions between On-Premise Oracle EBS & Cloud-based WMS using OIC as the integration layer.
